Word of the Deputy for Scientific Affairs

Dr. Hussein Khalifa Obeid

Assistant for Scientific Affairs

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, the first teacher, and upon his family and all his companions.

I am pleased and honored, in my role as the Academic Affairs Officer at the Faculty of Education in Jadu, Nalut University, to welcome you all through the college's website, which we aspire to be a bright window to our knowledge and thought, and a bridge for fruitful communication with our community.

The mission of the academic affairs is at the heart of the academic process; it is the rhythm that the heart of the college beats to, and the pillar upon which the journey of excellence is built. From this perspective, our vision is based on three main axes:

  1. Academic Excellence: Working on developing curricula and educational plans to be in line with the requirements of the times, meeting the needs of the labor market, and capable of graduating teachers and educators who carry the message of knowledge and learning with competence and capability.
  2. Enhancing Scientific Research: Supporting and encouraging rigorous and innovative scientific research among faculty members and students, and contributing to the production of knowledge that serves the issues of the local community and addresses its problems, based on our authentic Libyan identity.
  3. Building partnerships: Opening avenues for cooperation with educational and research institutions locally, regionally, and internationally, to exchange experiences, develop skills, and enrich the academic environment in our college.

To my sons and daughters, the students, you are the essence and purpose of the educational process. We strive hard to provide a stimulating learning environment that supports your creativity, hones your talents, and equips you with the tools of knowledge and science, so that you may become ambassadors of goodness and construction in our beloved homeland, Libya.

To my fellow professors and researchers, you are the foundation and pillar of this institution. We are committed to supporting you and overcoming all obstacles in front of you to achieve your noble mission in education, research, and creativity.

In conclusion, I pray to God Almighty to grant us all success in serving our knowledge and our homeland, and to make this edifice a beacon of knowledge and a source of conscious thought.

And peace be upon you, and God's mercy and blessings.
