About the Department


The Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies is one of the most important academic departments in the college. It was established in the fall of 2024, and although it consists of only one semester, it includes a range of courses that combine the sciences of the Arabic language and Islamic jurisprudence.

I am pleased and honored to address you today on behalf of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, a department in which we take pride in carrying a great responsibility.

It is represented in serving the language of the Holy Quran, deepening the authentic understanding of the noble Islamic religion, and spreading the noble values derived from our rich heritage and authentic identity.

The Arabic language is not just a means of communication; it is the vessel of our civilization, the tongue of our heritage, and the key to understanding the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet, peace be upon him.

Islamic studies also represent a beacon for guidance, a methodology for moderate and balanced thought, and a tool for building a person intellectually and morally.

From this perspective, our department strives to achieve excellence in education, scientific research, and community service through advanced academic programs.

And an outstanding teaching staff, along with ambitious students who carry in their hearts a love for knowledge and belonging.

We also affirm our commitment to a stimulating educational environment that allows for constructive dialogue, elevates the value of research, criticism, and independent thinking, while adhering to the principles of our religion and our ethical values.

The educational program for the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies follows the college's general curriculum system, with a total of 12 credit hours, and the approved language of instruction is Arabic.
